Yes, when you replace older windows and doors with newer, engineered higher quality thermal insulation you reduce heat and cold transfer and this reduces energy costs.  We also install new high quality insulating foam around the new window or door to ensure we fill every void that might be presenting drafts.

Outside of the obvious rotting or pealing wood or broken window panes or latches, look for the following:

• Fog, condensation or moisture build up on your glass consistently usually indicates that a seal has failed
• Faded flooring or furniture colouring from a sunny window means your current windows are allowing harmful UV rays to enter your home
